We are looking for practical and enthusiastic individuals to join the
test team for our revolutionary print-finishing equipment.
Watkiss Automation Ltd. is a family run business and has been
manufacturing print-finishing equipment for 30 years. We have recently
launched a new ‘world first’ product called the PowerSquare™200. Due
to the success of this product we are rapidly growing our team to meet
demand.
The PowerSquare™ is a book binding device, producing books from
individual sheets of paper printed on a digital print engine
The Role
Before the equipment leaves our factory it must undergo a vigorous
final test and inspection to ensure that it meets the specification.
You will be responsible for conducting and recording the tests, this
includes:
- Installation and set up
- Inspection of the machine to verify build quality
- Operation of the machine in a ‘customer simulation’ environment
- Production of books and examination of book quality
- Maintenance of test records
Full training will be given.
The Individual
You must be enthusiastic and keen to learn, with the initiative to
maintain and run your work area. Previous paper handling experience
would be an advantage but is not essential. Computer literacy is a
must as you will be required to do some data entry on excel
spreadsheets.
